Six weeks old!

We can't believe Landon is already six weeks old! We went to the pedi yesterday and he weighed 10 lbs. 8 ounces and was 22 3/4 inches long! She said he looked great! We also hit another important milestone... okay, maybe not so important to the doctor, but important to Jason & me... Landon has started skipping his midnight feeding!!! He sleeps from 9 pm-2 am now! Those 5 hours of sleep are heavenly :-) although we do miss him since we were used to seeing him every 3 hours. How am I ever going to go back to work?!?!

It's bathtime and no one is crying= success!!! Thank goodness we graduated from the newborn sling and he can sit in the water now.

Thanks Nana and Grandpa for my 6 week old birthday present! I love my WubbaNub pacis!

Birth Announcements

It only took us 6 weeks to send them out... better late than never right?!?!

Our biggest challenge as a parent thus far...

Is catching that sweet baby smile!!! It's hard work! A few weeks ago he started smiling while he was drifting off to sleep, but now he is smiling awake too. If we don't have the camera ready to go, it's too late!! Silly faces are totally unimpressive right now even though we spend hours trying. We haven't found anything in particular that makes him smile and the constant flashing of the camera sure isn't helping...

Tummy time is soooo boring...

but my puppy Dusty tries to keep me company while my mommy makes me lay here and strengthen my neck...

who cares about a strong neck anyways... unless it helps me get more milk?!?! Then I would be all for it because these days thats all I care about!

Look at me! I'm 5 weeks old and a big boy already :-)
I know, I know.... this is THE ultimate mommy thing- to have a blog! I decided to do this instead of flooding your email inboxes. You can just check here for updates on our lil' man. And we are going to write such poetic entries and include such fabulous pictures that I can print it out for him to have one day (okay, so being a boy maybe he won't care so much- but his wife one day will!).
