2 posts in one weekend?!?!

Landon- the easy going, sweet baby- has been fussy ALL morning! He is obviously upset about the Tech defeat yesterday! We are so sad!!! And by WE... I mean Landon & me. Jason isn't really a true fan :-( I don't think my nerves can handle many more Tech defeats!!!

Jason had to go "work" this morning. I think he just wanted an excuse to get out of the house and get a break from re-hashing the game with me. Sooooo.... since Jason left, I dressed Landon in his Houston Texan outfit! haha! Jason thinks Landon should only wear Dallas Cowboys stuff :-)

Landon loves playing with the big ball Grandpa bought him. Especially when people "bounce" it on his head! He also loves to hold his legs stiff and have someone swing him towards the ball and he "kicks" it. It looks like foosball (or whatever that game is called). CUTE!

Eight Great Months!

Landon turned 8 months on 9-14. He is still army crawling around, but is very fast!
The other night he pulled up on our ottoman to stand up. This was the first time he has ever done it alone and Jason & I were both there to witness it!!! Woo hoo!!! When both parents are working and you are able to witness a milestone together, it is AWESOME!!!
















Silly Landon! Loves to laugh! He has 7 teeth now (4 top, 3 bottom)















Loves to eat! He is now eating 3 meals a day and 1 snack! Sometimes we wear more than we eat! He also LOVES water! He drinks it out of his sippy cup and cries when I take it away :-( He says "mmm, mmmm" when he likes food or drinks his water!

















Landon loves to chase after Dusty! He also loves to crawl over the wood floor and slap his hand on the floor! He does the same thing to his high chair. He loves the loud noise!
















Landon loves his little red hammer!! He loves to use this to bang on our glass doors to our entertainment center :-( Currently trying to sale it because of this!! haha! (the entertainment center that is... not his hammer!)















My BFF from hs Holly and her son, Ridge! Ridge and Landon are only 4 months apart! So neat! They will be BFF too :-)

The Lee family invited us down to their beautiful lake house at Horseshoe Bay. We had a great, relaxing time!

Army Crawling & Happy Grandparents Day!

Happy Grandparents Day! Landon loves you! He looks unhappy in the picture because we wouldn't let him eat the cute crafts he made at daycare!
















Precious baby boy! He turns 8 months old tomorrow!! Things have changed SO much around here.....

Landon is now crawling!!! He is fast & into EVERYTHING!! A few favorites are to crawl to his toy box and flip it over and drag the rest of the toys out....

This is when he was just starting out and he was a little unsure so he needed something to go for!

That was a few days ago so now he is an old pro ;-) He is all over now!!!! Landon's other favorite to crawl to is wires :-( So this leads to crying when the wire gets taken away! Mean mommy & daddy!

Landon starts the transitioning period tomorrow into the next daycare class! He is getting promoted! Woo hoo!! I'll take a mommy moment and brag: He is getting promoted over one older kid because he is more mobile :-) We are glad because he is all over the place in his old room- trying to climb into bouncers (with babies already in there, pulling over activities mats, etc). I am sure the other moms are glad too since he is a better mix with the older kids in the next room (who are closer to his age) than their younger babies! We are sad though because his teachers have taken care of him since he was 10 weeks old and we love them!

Big Weekend!

It was a big weekend!!!

First and foremost, it was the first weekend of college football (just kidding, family!) Landon loves all things Texas Tech! He is perfecting "getting his guns up". Pictures of that soon ;-)

Landon got to see both sets of his grandparents, his 2 great grannys, and great aunt, uncle and cousin this weekend. He also got to meet my college friend Amanda, her sister and mom! I only have one picture of Landon though with Great Granny Brock!

Landon in the hotel. We stayed in the hotel attached to the "ball" in downtown Dallas so they put ball pillows on the bed. Landon thought it was a toy just for him! (Yep, that is baby food on their nice white duvet- oops! :-( )

And in VERY exciting news: Landon said "Da" last Saturday and "Mama" yesterday. It is not directed at anyone, just in his babbling he said it! But hey- it counts :-)
