Landon's first Thanksgiving

Landon with Great Granny Brock

Landon with Nana

Landon's first Thanksgiving plate... waiting for the "go ahead" from Nana

It started out civilized....

Then Landon just dug in!!

He had the best time eating his lunch! Nana was "helping" Landon eat... which means she gave him his plate and let him go to town! He kept looking at us like "why don't we do this at home?!?"

Happy 10 months!

Happy 10 months happy baby boy!!!

Landon weighed 25.03 lbs. at his last dr. appointment. He always crawls around with one toy sliding around in his right hand. He loves to crawl to the kitchen to slide the toys across the tile floor.

Landon will always grab the laptop, cell phone, remote or camera when they are in his reach! He loves to grab the remotes and change our tv or fan/lights! He would pick the remote over any toy. I gave him an old one to play with, but he still prefers our "real" ones.

Landon fully knows how to get everyone's attention. At daycare they told me at naptime every baby goes down for a nap at 11:00 except Landon. He screams in his bed until they come over, then he starts laughing. He gets their full attention after all the other babies are napping and they rock him to sleep every day. Spoiled?!?!

Landon also got his first report card at daycare. He made all I's (I can do it all by myself!) in the 12 month category except for standing and walking on my own with out support and tower building. He got an A in these categories (Almost).

Landon has 8 teeth (4 top/4 bottom).

The only word he says consistently & to the right person is Duh-eee (Dusty). He loves his Dusty Dog (the feeling isn't mutual yet!) He says mama/dada and will repeat mama if you say it first.

He is getting a little more "rough" in his play. This morning he started throwing balls at a toy and laughing.

He waves "bye bye" and claps if you say "clap, clap, clap".

Landon is eating about 1/2 baby food and 1/2 table food.

Laughing out takes:

When Landon laughs really hard he puts his arms up like this.

It looks like he is crying, but he is giggling (with his arms up)!

Enough pictures- I'm outta here!!!

Weekend with the Grandparents

This picture makes me laugh! Jason & I both gasped when we saw it. Landon sitting on the edge, next to glass (with his hands smugding up the glass), etc. Only grandparents would allow this!!!
Also, check out my mom's purse. One baby bottle in her purse- that's it! I carry around a huge diaper bag ready for any emergency, at any time! I guess after 29 years she was able to condense my massively stocked diaper bag to.... um ... ONLY ONE BOTTLE!! For the record, when I called her about only carrying around one bottle- her response was "I think I had a diaper in there too!"

Uncle Zach came down to visit too!

"Do you really think we can outrun him??"

"Ummm Grandpa, I don't think we are supposed to be here!"

Landon's Big Weekend

Landon had a BIG weekend this weekend! Friday night Jason and I went out for a work party and Saturday we finally made our trip to Dallas to celebrate our anniversary. Landon's grandparents kept him the whole weekend!!!! We are certain he was completely, 100% spoiled this weekend! And Jason I were too... we came home to flowers in our flower beds (who has time for that ;-) ) laundry folded, and lunch! Thanks Mom & Dad! We know Landon had a great weekend with ya'll! We will post pictures as soon as they get them to us- they are probably exhausted and still recovering from chasing after a 10 month old... haha!

Landon crawling around with his red hammer in tow

Crawling up the stairs (time for to buy that gate!!!!)

With his red hammer of course!!!!!!

Landon can only scoot backwards on his car, so mommy gets to push him around! He always picks up his feet so we can go fast!

Landon's pedi encouraged us to start table foods at his 9 month check up so we have been trying! Good thing we have Dusty around for clean-up!

Can't a boy eat a waffle in peace!?!?!

Look Mom, the game is on!

Little Romo has the best seat (haha!) in the house!

Watching Daddy as he screams at the tv

(Thanks Melissa for the jersey!!)
And for the really observant people:
1. Yes, Landon does own pants
2. We don't keep our entertainment center shelves destroyed- or at least we didn't until Landon discovered the joys of opening the doors and pulling out every picture, DVD player, etc. It is one of his favorite activities!

Happy Halloween

Landon ready for his Halloween party at daycare on Friday (His room wasn't in the Halloween parade- only watched it- so he didn't have to wear his costume)

And evidentially they did PARTY!!!! We aren't quite sure what happened at daycare on Friday- but Landon had a meltdown at dinner on Friday night around 5 pm (he even woke up the sleeping baby behind us at the restaurant :-( ) We quickly got our check and headed out with people staring at us :-( Even food wouldn't keep him quiet :-( Landon fell asleep in the car and didn't wake up until 4 am!!!!!!! Then he took a quick bottle and went back to sleep until 7:30 am!!!! This is unheard of for Mr. Landon! On Saturday he even took 2 long naps..... he was EXHAUSTED! Obviously, they know how to throw a good party!!!!!!

Landon's teachers made him this cute Halloween shirt

Chunky monkey rested up (finally) and ready to celebrate Halloween with Carson!

Landon telling Carson about his Halloween party at school

Don't tell my mom & dad!!!!

I told you- it is a secret!!!

Cute Halloween boys!!!

What do you mean we have been giving candy away to the kids?!?!

I can't wait to Trick or Treat next year!!!!
