Funny story

Ashlyn is finally having fun wrestling with Landon (he has been trying for 9 months to get her play and I guess she is finally giving in :-) )

Landon's personality and comedic style is too much these days!!!!

At dinner tonight:

Landon- "Daddy, how was work?"

Jason- "It was good. How was school?"

Landon- "Daddy, did you make-a the money?"

Jason- "Yes"

Landon- "Daddy, I need the money"
Jason- "I put the money in the bank"
Landon- "Daddy, I need to go to bank and get the money and go to Chuck E. Cheese"

Jason- "Ok on Friday we will"

Landon- "Daddy, we need to go get your haircut, go the bank and get the money and go to Chuck E. Cheese and go to your work and then come home"

9 months

Happy 9 months precious baby!!!

Height 30 (97.6%)
Weight 22 (88.49%)
Head 18 (95.14%)

Favorite toys: computers, phones, remote controls

Favorite cartoon: Mickey Mouse

Favorite food: anything sweet, gags on vegetables (especially green beans)

We bought Ashlyn her first pair of big girl shoes (not crib shoes)- size 3.5W

Brother always steps (or flips) in to help with the monthly pictures

Silly brother! Or "bubba" as Ash calls him. She also says "mama". Jason is (im)patiently waiting for her to say "dada".

Watching Sunday football in style! She looks a little under the weather... this month has been a rough one for poor Ashie. Teething and stomach viruses have got her down! We have 4 beautiful bottom and 3 beautiful tooth teeth to show off though!

VERY attached to mommy right now. It's just a phase, but I will be sad when it's over and Jason will be glad.

Last picture as a vegetarian.....

She's a turkey eater now (getting ready for Thanksgiving)

Pulling up on furniture, but not really cruising around just yet

Drinking water out of her sippy (Landon chilling watching Dora)

Landon holding the bread Ashlyn made a school. We are so proud- such talent!

Playing together so nicely

They both LOVE to go to the grocery store with me- seriously one of their favorite activities

Reading Goldilocks together

"I got her" as Landon says

Sweet babies before school

Love!!!

Landon walking around talking to Ty on the phone- busy body!!!

He finally sat down with the family!

Celebrating my 31st birthday at Sakura. Landon was busy studying the cook.

Sweet baby Ashie

Landon is so cute posing with our yummy cupcakes from Sprinkles bakery

But the best birthday present of all was Landon singing "Happy Birthday" to me. Priceless!!!!

Other things the world's smartest 2.5 year old is doing:

Can recite a couple of Llama Llama books- almost entirely

Always asks "how was work daddy" when Jason comes in

I took him with me the other day to get a nail fixed and he had the best time. He loves to go anywhere/anytime/to do anything!!!!

Is really loving school these days and his friends there

Independent doesn't even describe him- I don't think there is a word to describe how independent he is :-)

Loves pretend play- he walks over and says "Hi I'm the girls" (house cleaners) or "Hi I'm floors" (wood floor installers) and loves for me to give him the jobs and then write a check to him when he is done.

This is the best picture I can get of him these days- always on the move and also in a "I don't like picture" phase.

Halloween 2011

We had the cutest Mickey and Minnie for Halloween. A few months ago I asked Landon what he wanted to be for Halloween. I named off a bunch of costumes and he said Mickey Mouse. He watches the show sometimes, but not often so I wanted to make sure he really wanted to dress up as him (and not Gabba his FAVORITES!). Everytime I asked him, he said Mickey and he wanted Ashlyn to be Minnie. The costumes were too cute!!! Landon did a great job picking!!!

Precious Mickey

Little Miss' first Halloween

Landon was soooo excited Halloween morning. He woke up saying "yay, yay, yay, yay, yay!!" and was running around. I don't think he stopped running all day long. Halloween was on Monday so he went to school, had a party and parade there, then went Trick or Treating that night. It was a busy day!! The above picture is from the day before. We had pumpkin cinammon rolls.

Ashlyn even got to eat some of them!

We carved pumpkins and both babies had a blast doing it.

Landon's costume parade at school. Jason went to watch him and took Ashlyn with him and he was very excited to see them when he walked out of the door!!!

Cutest Mickey in the parade!!

With his class, getting ready for story time on the carpet

Getting ready to Trick or Treat in our neighborhood. They both had a blast! Lots of houses were decorated and there were lots of kids walking around.

In the end, Landon thought Ashlyn needed to be carried by Jason so he could load up the wagon with their treats.

I finally got Landon to go inside by telling him it was our turn to pass out candy. He had a blast doing that too! It was a FUN night! This whole week Landon has loved getting a few pieces of candy and putting them in his Halloween bag and carrying it around.
