Landon loves his Woody Toy Story doll. He takes him everywhere and sleeps with him. Ashlyn is full of personality. Not possible to be any more silly, bossy or loving than our little Ashie! They looked so cute for picture day, but Ashlyn refused to participate (aqua matching shirt/dress). Landon was so mad at her. He loved the picture company and took pics with them everyday! Ha!  Ashlyn has started letting me put "clippies" in her hair.  She loves to check out her finished product. 

We seriously have the BEST babies ever!!!

Museum

We took the babies to see the awesome new Paleontology hall at the Natural Science Museum. Lunch at McDonald's and the butterfly exhibit/ rainforest were the biggest hits with the babies.

Landon's soccer

Landon had his first ever soccer game Saturday September 8. He did SO good. He scored a goal and his coach picked him as player of the week and gave him a medal. It was so cute watching them play; although Jason and I can't believe he is old enough to be playing sports already. Ashlyn is quite the little cheerleader, but she would much rather be playing with bubba. The 2nd game Landon scored another goal. It was awesome! The 3rd game we were at the dr right before the game. Landon is sick with an ear infection :(. He still wanted to play though. He's loving soccer so far and we LOVE watching him play!!!  It cracks me up- in almost every picture he is looking at us smiling so big- he is having a great time and that makes us so happy!

Little genius

Fall curriculum has started at school and Landon is loving his homework assignments. Ashlyn loves to supervise and color! Landon wrote his name for the first time without tracing! (sideways pic). He had just had his hair cut and he let them spray it green. I was shocked! Big risk for our contemplative, conservative boy!

Labor Day weekend

We had the BEST 3 days off together as a family. We spent all our time together and it was much needed for all of us!!!! We camped out upstairs in a tent and ordered pizza (pizza planet according to Landon from Toy Story), swam at our pool for hours and Landon finally got to go down the really big adult slides (the lifeguards hadn't let him all summer) and he loved loved loved it, shopped for Landon's soccer stuff, painted Ashlyn's toenails for the 1st time which she loved and sat perfectly still for, and grilled outside ribs. The babies ate more ribs than Jason or I did. Definitely not ready to go back to work after spending so much time with these little chickens :(
