Getting ready for Christmas

 Our elf "Chippey" is here! The kids LOVE finding him every morning.

Lighting of our town's Christmas tree.  They brought in snow for Houston kids (who get to see snow every 50 yrs) to play in :-)

 I took Landon to see the Nutcracker ballet.  Our seats were awesome- only 3 rows from the stage.  He never moved and watched very intently.  He also loved checking out the orchestra during intermission.  (Ashlyn stayed home with Daddy and they went out for Mexican food- chips and dip- so she was in heaven!)  Before the Nutcracker, Landon & I went to dinner.  He picked to eat shrimp.  He is obsessed with shrimp right now!

Our little reindeer Landon!  His class performed Santa Clause is coming to town & Rudolph.  It was too cute!!!  Then both babies had their class parties after the play.  Jason and I both took the day off and it was soooo fun celebrating with them and their little friends at school.

This is truly the best time of the year.  Especially with 2 little ones.  What could be more fun and exciting?!?!

Ashlyn was reaching out, but NOT crying! Huge accomplishment for Ashlyn!  She kept saying "I cry, I cry".  Landon looked so handsome!

Breakfast with Santa

Nana & Papa invited us to breakfast with Santa. We look forward to going every year. This year everyone & their families were able to go so it was great to spend time with everyone.

Christmas train

One of our most favorite Christmas things to do is ride the Christmas train in Alvin. It is so pretty!!! They have beautiful lights, great snacks and Santa and Ms. Claus. What could be better??!?!? Landon asked to go again tonight.... I wish we could go every night too!!!!

Teeth doctor

Landon LOVES going to the teeth doctor (dentist). He asks all the time to go- unfortunately, our insurance only covers 2 visits a year. Today they really cleaned, polished and flossed his teeth. The other visits they have just brushed and examined. Landon did wonderfully and his love for the dental experience continues!!! Praying this rubs off on Ashlyn- today she seemed pretty unimpressed with Landon's experience though :/

Our blog

This is my baby book for the kids.  I have a company print the blog once a year and it is bound as a hardback book.  Just in case "blogs" aren't around when the kids get older- I want them to see what it looked like as I recorded our lives together.

Weekend at Nana and Papa's

After Thanksgiving, the babies stayed 2 nights with Nana and Papa. Jason and I were sad to miss them so much, but they were sooooo excited to go so that helped us. Our house was way too quiet!!!

 Ashlyn was definitely "country" for the weekend!  Glad she is back to her pretty, nice clothes :-)
