Happy 5th Birthday, Landon!

 We had a great day celebrating the big 5 with Landon!  I made him wait around the corner so I could take his picture when he saw all the decorations in the kitchen.  He had slept in our bed that night so he woke me up really early for his big day!

 He had picked out his breakfast of powdered donuts a few days before.  He and Ashlyn ate the whole bag that morning!!!

 Finally- little sister woke up!  It drove Landon crazy that she was sleeping in on his birthday.

He may have made us light the candles and sing a few   many, many times! :-)

Ready to go!  I asked Landon where he wanted to eat lunch and he told me he wanted to pick Daddy up at work and go eat at Chic-Fil-A.  So we headed out for our little 30 min drive just to pick up daddy for the bday lunch.

After lunch we headed up to school to take cake & juice so Landon could celebrate with his friends.

Then he picked to go to Barnes & Nobles to play and read books.

We met Daddy at home and opened presents.

After presents we went to eat at "fire restaurant"- Japanese Hibachi Steak.  Landon had sushi and his steak.  He loved it!

Back home for more cake (and singing and candles)!  Celebration alllllll day long!  We wouldn't do it any other way!

 The weather for the past 2 days has been freezing- literally- which never happens in Houston.  We were stuck inside.  Landon practiced reading his book & has it down!

 The kids thought jumping into the laundry was the best thing ever!

Christmas 2013

 We spent Christmas at Nana & Papa's house

 Ashlyn woke up very early, but Landon was still asleep so we stayed in bed and sang Christmas songs and talked and waited for Landon.  He finally woke up so we ran in the living room.  The kids were sooooo excited!!
