July 4th

We love our little town's 4th of July festival. Live band, dancing, food trucks, bounce houses and fireworks. So much fun!!!

Kindergarten Graduation

Riding his bike to school for graduation!

Marching in.... He was so happy and smiling and waving. We got a little choked up. Such a big moment!!!

Landon was picked out of all the kindergarteners to read a part in the poem. He was letter A- A is for the alphabet we know how to say.

He did awesome!!!!!!

Then they sang 3 songs- 1st Grade Here we come, Start spreading the news and you are my sunshine
Afterwards we went to his class for a little reception. Nana and Papa were in town so we gave Landon the option of an early check out to see them. He debated and wanted to stay at school. In the end, he decided to leave early with us. Amazing- this scared little boy I dropped off on the first day, who burst into tears now was almost picking school :) he has grown so much this year in so many ways. First grade here we come!!!!

Riding his bike home with Daddy
First day & graduation day

First field trip!

This little lady went on very first field trip July 7. They went to the movies to watch Night at the Musuem. Landon and I stalked and went to the movies too. We got there late because Landon had Literacy Camp- but I had to go and make sure she made it. She was fine, loving the movie. We left a little early and she didn't even notice us. In true Ashlyn fashion she was totally engrossed in the movie. She loved it!!  She feels so grown up and still says "I can't believe I got to go on a field trip!!!"

Baby shower

My best friends from college flew in for the day to take me to the Four Seasons in Houston for a relaxing day. We had lunch at the hotel, pedicures and relaxed at the pool. So much fun celebrating baby Addison.

Crazy story- the hotel lost all my gifts. I had a heart attack, but luckily after an hour they found them in the wrong car!!!

Driving home there was a beautiful rainbow. Perfect sign for our baby girl!!

Meanwhile the kids had a fun daddy day- movies and fun!

Summer

What summer looks like when your mom is 8 months pregnant.....
And suddenly this girl is a fish. Maybe it's because we swim all day/everyday?!?!?!?

Baby #3

By far the VERY most exciting thing that has happened to us is in 2014 is finding out baby #3 is on the way!
12-10-14: positive test while I was at work. I wasn't feeling any symptoms, but took the test anyways. I called Jason right away. We were soooooo excited!!!
1-8-15: first doctor's appointment. We had a sonogram that confirmed our dates and baby was given a due date of 8-24-15

1-19-15: told the kids we were expecting. To say they were excited is a huge understatement. They were sooooooo excited. Both said they hoped it was a girl. We told them by putting big bro/sis shirts on with their eyes closed and wrapping up the ultrasound picture and having them open them up. They read their shirts, saw the pics and said "are you really?!??! Are you really?!?!?"

1-28-15: confirmation ultrasound for dates and baby growth

2-9-15: 1st trimester screen. Everything looked great and we found out we were probably having a girl. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
3-16-15: took the kids with us to the dr to find out the sex for sure. We told the kids to wear pink if they thought it was a girl and blue for a boy.

As you can see, they were both team PINK! And they were right :)
3-19-15: first time I felt the baby move (at Hollywood Studios watching Fantasmic!). It was little flutters, but I was sure!
4-10-15: 20 week ultrasound. Everything looked great!

4-17-15: first time Jason felt the baby move
4-22-15: another usg

Mothers Day May 10: 25 weeks 6 days baby bump

July 4: 32 week 5 days baby bump

Sibling class to get ready for our sister!
