I can't let this month birthday go by without documenting this crazy chick! We call her a hot mess because she is! She is aware of everything that goes on and makes sure she never misses out. The big kids get a snack, so does she. They are laughing, she is laughing. They're outside, she wants to be outside, etc. And if she's missing out, she screams REALLY loud until the problem is fixed! She is officially one of the big kids now ;) (or so she thinks). Luckily, my baby Addi still loves to snuggle, rock, give kisses and be held 24/7. It's Addi's way or the highway. The big kids give in to everything she wants and completely adore her! We are all pretty obsessed with our little Addi Boo! (and she knows it ;)) She is so much fun to be around and on her school days, I miss her terribly (and sometimes don't take her because I just want to hang out here with her!)

She can blow kisses and give you kisses if you ask
Understands all commands- go upstairs for nap, get your shoes, get me a diaper, etc

Says: mama, dada, bubba, sis, ball, baby, book, Min-me (Minnie and Mickey), shoes, pup pup, mil (milk), thanks, nack (snack), nummy (yummy).

She LOVES pup-pup and her friend

She likes Mickey mouse, snacks, milk

Says "yeah!!!!!!" when I pull up to her school and open the door and when we dump out all her toys on the living room floor

Goes to bed at 7 each night and usually sleeps until 6:30 am or so.... occasionally wakes up in the middle of the night for puppy and us to rock her. Takes one nap from 12-2. Is a great napper, but fights bedtime.

Eats everything we give her if she's in the mood (hates a food one day, loves it the next), but tries everything. She is starting to try to use forks and spoons.

Loves to go through my purses, bags, etc. Loves to get in to anything "adult" stuff

Addi Brynn- what did we ever do before you joined our family?!?!??! We love you BIG TIME!!!!! You are equally funny, loving, sweet and a little bit of a toot right now ;) What a super fun age!! We love watching you grow and learn new things! We clap and cheer and encourage you on and you LOVE all the attention! You make our days busy & fun & full of happiness and love. We love our Addi Boo!!!!

Landon's 8th birthday

Landon's 8th birthday- Family party! He wanted to take a few friends to Top Golf on his actual birthday so we had all the family over the weekend before to celebrate. Landon picked all the foods- hot dogs, hamburgers, chips/dips, veggie tray and Chex Mix. We watched the Texans win a playoff game & hung out.

The boys went inside to play some games so Landon & Jason got some 1-1 time playing golf! They both loved it!

We had the best time celebrating our baby boy! Landon, you are so passionate about EVERYTHING in life. You don't let anything get by you and you don't miss a beat! I am confident if you could drive you could take care of yourself ;-) And you could probably drive if we ever let you :-) you can do it all! Every sport you try- you succeed in. You tried basketball for the first time this winter and won a camp award. Your favorite is still baseball though and we are heading in to the spring season and I am sure you will continue to do well & love the game and especially the time with your friends. I wrote this on Facebook for your birthday:

Happy 8th birthday to our energetic, fun loving, crazy baby boy. Lover of all things sports related- cheering loudly/obnoxiously, spectating and most of all playing, buying lunch in the cafeteria (with 1 extra), playing outside until dark, traveling to new places, YouTube, camper vans, socializing with your friends, and the Texas Rangers! Words can not and will not ever be able to describe how much JOY, FUN, and LOVE you bring to everyone in this family. You are the life of the party! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Park City

Leaving for Park City, UT.... so many bags!!!!

Addison's 1st flight... she did..... not so great! ;-) But we all survived!!!!!

We made it!!!!! For the first day, we played in the snow and walked to a really good little restaurant near by. The kids were mesmerized with the snow & LOVED playing in it!

Day 2:

During the day we went to the Olympic Park and toured the museums. It was neat to see all the history. During the night, we watched Santa come down the lift in town.

Day 3:
We went to a snow tube park (Gorgoza) and the kids also rode snowmobiles. So much fun!!!!!

Day 4:

Ski lessons for Jason, Landon & Ashlyn and hanging out on the mountain and watching the skiiers for Addi, Nana, Papa and I.

Day 5: Deer Valley
We rode the bus out to the fancy Montage at Deer Valley and had lunch out there...gorgeous! At night, the big kids went ice skating and then we all went on a sleigh ride up the mountain at night!
