We are home sick with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (don't Google pictures... Landon's case looks nothing like what is on the web... he has a very MILD case), but contagious none the less, so we are taking the day off! Daycare is a big germ factory with all the babies chewing on the same toys, playing on the same things, drool everywhere- so we are blaming them :-) This also explains his screaming every night this week from 3 am-6 am. Our easy going, sweet natured baby had been a little handful this week during the night. It made us that more appreciative of what a good baby he really is!!! The HFMD coupled with his bottom 2 teeth breaking through has made for a fun week.... Jason and I had decided we really didn't need to sleep anymore and like the way bags under our eyes look! Since his case is so mild, we are already on the downhill slope and most of his blisters were gone this morning when we woke up!
In better news, we are moving right along with solids.... his first vegetable was peas! Next is pears! I am sure he will prefer pears, but I had to get a veggie in there first!
