This morning before school I combed Landon's hair to the side and it made him look so different- so old... won't be doing that again anytime soon!Landon turned 17 months on Monday.
He says:
up, uh (uh oh), vacu (vacuum), birs (birds), fish, mama, dada, du-eee or duh (dusty), cheese, yeah, side (outside), nana (banana), teeth, oh wow, what's this
more (but only in sign language- thanks to daycare)
Knows the bodyparts: head, nose, ear
He understands EVERYTHING! It is amazing. He does whatever you tell him- take this to mommy, put this up, etc. He is also mimicking now which is funny.... he squints his eyes when he laughs and you think "Do I do that??? Where did he get that from?"
He loves to fix stuff/help out with whatever we are doing. Jason had the screw driver out changing the batteries on Mickey. Afterwards, Landon had to fix Mickey with the screw driver too! He loves to match pots & pans, tuperware, etc but gets really mad when the lids don't match.
He loves water. Right now he is getting his fair share- we go to our waterpark or friend's pools often, swim classes on Wednesday nights and Splash Day at daycare on Tuesday. He is a water baby!
He loves to laugh and make us laugh! He is silly & likes silly games and songs.
He loves to eat! Favorites are: grapes, bananas, yogurt, cheese, but eats everything. Always uses a fork or spoon now and is getting really good at it!
Off the bottle finally! Woo hoo!
He loves music. His teachers told me on Wednesday they have a guy come in and play the guitar. He was playing slower songs and all the kids were sitting and listening. The guitar guy started playing something fast and Landon stood up and started dancing! He dances to the radio in the car and we sing songs all the time. He loves: Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus, and If You're Happy & You Know It.
you get reeeeally spoiled and throw a biiiiiig fit when it's time to leave!
