Ear Infection Hell 2009 has now carried into 2010. The ear infection that started in November was resistant to every single antibiotic we tried so the peditrician finally told me "That's all we have to try... he has to go to an ENT." I was so sad because an ENT=tubes. Well, today was the big day- Landon's Tube Day. I don't have to write about how stressful it was because any mom would understand. No matter how many people tell you it's "routine" and "simple"- there is nothing "routine/simple" about your baby being put to sleep for surgery!!! STRESS!!!!
Landon did great and from the time we handed him off to the nurse and Anesthesiologists to take him back (oh my gosh, rip my heart out!) to the time the surgeon came to tell us the surgery was over was 17 mintues. Not that I was timing it or anything.
She said he had lots, lots, lots of fluid removed and should hear better now. We are very excited for Landon to be out of pain and hear well! He has been up for 1-3 hours every night this week in pain so we are looking forward to sleeping too!!!

Poor Baby! Hungry and tired before surgery!
After we got home, we all took naps and then ate Homemade Chicken & Dumplings!
And that made it all better!
We are cautiously optimistic that Ear Infection Hell 2009-2010 is finally over!
