Sibling love

Ashlyn's first roadtrip went great. Nana road with us to Dallas to help with the chaos of traveling with a 2 year old and 5 week old. We looked like we were moving to Dallas instead of going for the weekend. Jason had a wedding and I had a wedding shower to host and then we had a couples shower to attend. Since we were very busy, Nana and Papa stayed in Dallas with us to keep the babies. They were stuck in the hotel room all weekend since Ashlyn is only 5 weeks old and can't really get out yet. We would have gone crazy stuck in a hotel for 3 days with 2 babies, but Nana, Papa and Landon had the best time. Landon still talks about it. His favorite memories were: playing in Nana's car , the play doh puppy dog and swimming in the hot tub with Papa. Thanks Nana & Papa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nap time with Daddy in the hotel room. Ashlyn LOVES to cuddle. She sleeps so much better right next to me in our bed. The other night she slept for 5 1/2 hours curled up next to me. I woke up and put her in her craddle and that woke her up. She might have slept all night if I would have left her alone!

Funny story about Landon we have to remember: I have been teaching Landon to say his name "Landon Sharp". The other day I asked him his name and he said "Landon Shaaaap" so I said
"What's my name?" We always ask him this and he says "Mommy" or "Daddy", but this time he said "Mommy Shaaaap" . I pointed to Jason and said "What's his name?" and Landon said "Daddy Shaaaap". It is the cutest thing ever!
