I always want to remember our day to day routine. Our days are busy and fun, but mostly exhausting. Every night I am glad we made it through another day :-)
Jason leaves for work while we are all still asleep. At 6:00 I head upstairs to wake Landon & Ashlyn up. I wake up Landon first, but he usually tells me to close his door that he needs to sleep :-) Sometimes he comes in and rocks with us while I give Ashlyn her bottle, but most mornings he stays in bed.
Ashlyn wakes up when she hears me open her door. Usually she isn't crying- but this morning she was wondering why I was taking her picture and not picking her up!

I give Ashlyn her bottle and rock her while she wakes up. One of the best parts of my day (and it makes my day when Landon comes in to rock with us!!)

Then we head to Landon's room to wake him up. Ashlyn gets in his bed and pats his back to wake him up.

She also loves to lay and roll around on him. Landon loves for her to get in his bed so ever since we started doing this he wakes up happy!

We go to our bedroom so I can dress them and they watch cartoons. Some mornings we eat breakfast at home, but they always eat breakfast at school. It all depends on what Landon wants to do (usually he has planned it out the night before.)

Getting both of them dressed is sort of like a wrestling match X 2. I turn our bedroom fan on high to keep from sweating an insane amount. It is my work out for the day.

Landon was so excited because he "matched Gabba" on tv. Notice Ashlyn in our daycare bag. I pack everything in there and one of the two of them dump it all out almost every morning. They act like there is gold in there. It is always the same stuff- bottles, spare clothes, coats and blankets. Not very exciting, but they LOVE that bag!

Finally dressed! I can breathe a little :-)

One last picture before we head out. Landon usually does a pep talk for us all before we leave. "Are you ready guys?!? Let's go play with friends!!!"

Even though the drive to daycare is only about 2 minutes, Landon insists on watching a movie. Lately, he is into his headphones again so he was getting them ready to plug in.

At school- Ashlyn eating her blueberry muffin in her room.

Landon eating breakfast- blueberry muffin, peaches and milk.

Then I leave and get to commute in Houston traffic :-(

The day can't pass by fast enough. I am constantly watching the clock and rushing through so I can get back to daycare!

Love this sign! It's my last exit before our subdivision.

Ashlyn chilling in her bouncer at school

Landon playing with friends. After about 15 hugs for his friends, we are finally able to head home (usually around 3 pm on M,T,W and earlier on Thurs, Fri).

Daddy's home! Dinnertime!

Then we take baths and Landon has to "get Ashie" in our bed. They love to wrestle around and watch a movie before bedtime. Ashlyn takes her bottle at 7 and goes straight to sleep. Landon- our anti-bedtime boy- goes through phases. Current phase is about 1/2 nights are "mommy daddy bed" and we watch movies until he falls asleep and then we put him in bed. The other 1/2 of nights are "Landon bed" nights which involve rocking, begging, deals, pleading, etc. Usually he falls asleep on a mat outside of his room and we put him in bed later (clothes optional- another phase is that he doesn't like his clothes at bedtime???)
I never want to forget this precious time with the babies. Getting 2 little ones out the door between 6:30-7:00 every morning is crazy and stressful (I HATE that we have to go so early), but I LOVE being the one that gets to wrangle them to get dressed, sneak hair gel in their bed head, and cook cinammon rolls at record speed!!!! Best feeling and most fun work out in the world!!!!!!!!!
